I hope you enjoyed this. If you have read this, please let me know what you thought in the comments below, I'm very interested in knowing everyone's thoughts.

Kim's book corner: The Casual Vacancy

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

Today I thought I would share with you all my review of JK Rowling's newest novel, 'The Casual Vacancy'. I filmed this last Monday, and have already filmed the next review, but as I mentioned in my last post I haven't really been on the internet this past week.

I hope you all enjoyed this review. Have any of you read it? If so, let me know what you thought.

Look out for my next review, which will hopefully be up on Wednesday.

TAG: 10 day 'you' challenge.

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

I've been seeing this tag over the blogosphere and decided I would have a go. I'm doing the same thing that Ember is doing, spreading it out over a few weeks, simply because I am lacking in blog inspiration at the moment.

So lets get started with my 10 secrets.

  1. I want a drivers license  but I don't want to drive. I feel like I should learn now so that when I have a family I can just get a car, but to be honest I'm actually not interested in driving right now. I enjoy bus journeys, it's just waiting for them that I hate
  2. I don't enjoy going out at night. I would much rather stay in with a good book or movie. Even when I'm having a few drinks with friends, I would much rather stay in, it's not only safer, but it's cheaper too.
  3. Following on from that, I've never been in a night club. I've walked past them at night, and it's never appealed to me. I think it's the noise that puts me off most, I just don't understand how you could have a good time, when you can't even hear yourself think.
  4. I hate spending money, particularly on myself. I always feel guilty when I spend any money, so I hardly ever do it. Although saying that, right now I'm in the mood to go shopping, cause there are a couple of things I want right now, but I'll make up for it by doing Christmas shopping at the same time.
  5. I haven't eaten a chocolate biscuit in almost 4 years. This was a New Years Resolution when I was 16 and am so proud of myself for sticking to it for so long, and I don't plan on eating one any time soon.
  6. I don't have many friends. I actually find it hard to make friends because I am incredibly shy and very socially awkward.
  7. I'm finding this very difficult to write. I actually can't think of many secrets to tell right now. Lets see if I can think of 3 more shall we?
  8. I really want to be healthy, but find it really difficult to say no to my cravings. I am actually getting better at this, but I'm actually eating a sharing bag of dorritos to myself.
  9. I can't cook packet pasta. You know the pasta you just cook in the microwave? Yeah, I can't make it. I don't understand how it happens, but the pasta never cooks for me. Give me a recipe from Pinterest and I am able to make it, but packet pasta? Not gonna happen.
  10. I like games but can never complete them without someone else's help. I like playing video games, even if I do get a little bit angry at it when I can't do it, I just wish I didn't need help all the time. It's the only reason I don't play them as often as I would like.
That's my 10 secrets, I hope you enjoyed this post and I will talk to you all soon.

A very old OOTD

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

I really wanted to write a blog post, but didn't know what to write about. So I was going through, and re-organising all my pictures on my laptop and found an outfit of the day that I had worn back in April, but for some reason had never posted. I actually like the outfit, so thought I would share it with you all tonight, because I'm bound to wear it again sometime soon.

What I am wearing: Leather look jacket with a grey hood, from Ethel Austins, Sheer owl top from Primark, Super skinny jeans, again from Primark, Grey heeled boots with a lace up detail from Everything5pounds, Bow ring (I have no idea where this is from, I've had it for so, literally, years) neutral eye with blue eyeliner on my bottom lash line, and a pink lip (Sorry I can't remember the exact lip product I used) Hot pink nail polish by Nails Inc.

Where I wore it: Is it weird that I still remember where I wore this outfit? Probably. Anyway I remember feeling in the mood to be girly, and do my hair and make-up and wear a nice outfit, because I'd been watching a lot of beauty gurus on YouTube, and I hadn't had a chance to make myself look decent because of school, so my mum and I decided to go shopping in Liverpool one Saturday. It was a good day, and I think I may have done a small haul, although I can't remember LOL. I love wearing nice clothes, and wearing make-up, I'm just too lazy to do it on a daily basis now :-P

That is all for today. Maybe I'll start doing OOTD's again soon, although I do tend to wear the same thing repeatedly, so it probably won't be very often ha-ha.

I hope you all have a great weekend and I'll talk to you all tomorrow.

Have a beautiful night

New years resolutions update

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

Today, I thought I would share with you all how I am getting on with my new years resolutions. Can you believe it's November already? We'll soon be making fresh New Years Resolutions!

  1. Wash my face and brush my teeth every night
  2. Take my vitamins everyday
  3. Eat cleaner/healthier
  4. Exercise at least 3 times a week
  5. Work hard at school (now university)
  6. Read 6 books by the summer (changing to by Christmas)
  7. Appreciate all that I have more often

  1. I've been doing both of these almost every night, well until the past week, where I haven't been brushing my teeth (I don't even know why) however this month I will definitely keep brushing my teeth before bed, because I can't sleep if I haven't
  2. Strangely I actually haven't been doing this, and I don't know why. But I've moved my vitamins to a better place so I remember to take them
  3. I have stuck to this minus weekends. When I'm at my mum's I just can't stop eating cake and crisps, but during the week I'm pretty good.
  4. I've been exercising pretty much every day, minus the odd day here and there when I've woken up a bit late. I feel great after working out in the morning, and feel very sluggish if I miss a day.
  5. I love studying and am working pretty hard, especially because I know what I want from it
  6. I'm not doing so good on this, I'm only on my second book of the past 3 months, but I think I'll do it.
  7. I am getting pretty good at this, I believe, well I hope anyway. I thank God for all that I have everyday, especially since Hurricane Sandy, which really showed me how lucky I am

How are you all getting on? Let me know in the comments below.

October Ins and Outs

Hey girls, I hope you're all well.

I can't believe it's already the 10th November and I haven't done my Ins and Outs yet! I've just been crazy busy, with my first assignments and a potential house mate wanting to view the room, and not getting enough sleep. But it's here now, so lets get started.

In:

  1. My little pony - Now I'm going to be honest, I don't actually remember when I started watching this, but I know that love it! Spike is probably my favourite, he is adorable!
  2. Studying - I'm going to be honest, I don't study all the time, in fact I'm always behind for my Friday seminars, but when I do it, I enjoy it, and realise how much I missed it during the my long summer
  3. Spending time with my mum - My mum is moving away very soon, and I have been loving spending some quality with her, especially on my birthday!
  4. Relaxing - For the moment I have the house to myself every Tuesday, so I take full advantage of that and relax in the bath. I'm weird and don't always like having a bath when other people are here, I just find it more relaxing when the house is empty. Is anyone else like that, or is it just me?
Out:
  1. Getting away with just a jumper/hoodie outside - The temperatures have really plummeted this month, which is nice, as long as I am wrapped up warm. The only problem is when I'm waiting for my bus.
  2. Having money for 'fun stuff' - Unfortunately I don't have a job at the moment, so I don't have any spare cash, which is a bummer, especially with Christmas coming up
I think that's all my Ins and Outs for this month. There wasn't too much excitement last month, maybe there will be more stuff to write about for this month, what with Christmas preparations coming up! I already know 2 Ins for next month, I am absolutely loving both of these things, I'm pretty much certain it will stick all month.

Have a beautiful night,
